Kiniski Gardens Affordable Community Development

Leading Housing secured $10.9 million in funding and land, and is overseeing the development of the Kiniski Gardens Affordable Housing Project with the Right at Home Housing Society. This will allow the creation of 68 affordable homes through the City of Edmonton’s Surplus School Sites Program. The development will include 34 one-bedroom and 34 three-bedroom units, all of which will be rented below 80% of median market rents in the area. The Kiniski Gardens Affordable Housing Project is envisioned as a welcoming place where individuals and families alike can put down roots and enjoy neighbourhood amenities, while also expanding the supply of safe, stable and affordable housing in Edmonton’s southeast.
